Developed by European company World Match Game Labs, Robotika HD rally is a new type of slot. Still fairly new on the market having only launched back in June of 2017, you can see the inspiration behind it: 1980s sci-fi films and novels. In fact, the developers themselves classify the game as ‘for lovers of all things robotics’. It’s completely futuristic in theme (well, the imagined future from the 1980s, at any rate). Plus, World Match have added something super-futuristic to place the slot squarely in our modern times – and that’s the ability to share, tweet and post the game’s activity to your Facebook or Twitter account, via Robotika HD’s social media integration. If that weren’t enough, another super-futuristic update includes the high quality HD graphics, with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. At the very least, this is one great looking slot.
Play Robotika HD at the following casinos:
Don’t be fooled by the futuristic theme, this is a really easy slot to play and get to grips with. It’s made up of 5 reels and 3 rows, with 15 paylines. Bets start at $0.01, with 7 other betting amounts up to $1.00. As with most slots, simply place your bet and spin the reels.
You’ll then see several things happening: either, you’ll see some regular symbols, in this case, different coloured robot cogs, which can pay out up to 200x your bet maximum (for the green cog), or up to 100x your bet minimum (purple cog) when you spin 5 of these in a row. In addition, there are five, special stacked symbols you might see – and those are the robot characters themselves. Winning any of these stacked symbols will net you 2x your bet, while winning all 5 on the reels will see you receiving a whopping 10,000x your bet.
Other symbols of note include the ‘Wild’ symbol (which you’ll know it when you see it, it’s literally a symbol saying ‘Wild’), also appears at random, and will try to help you make a winning combination.
We here at Casino Reef really loved the look and sound of this slot. The theme sounds like something you’ve definitely heard before, in a film somewhere, but you just can’t quite place it. It has a fast, tense beat, mixed in with a couple of higher notes (to up the tension), making you feel like something is about to happen.
Then, when you spin you’ll hear even more robotic/futuristic noises, kind of like the whirring of a droid going into action! The sound itself is crystal clear, and places you right back in our digitally-advanced age.
Otherwise, the graphics similarly places this slot as something which has been developed nowadays. Despite the obvious nod to the good old days of 1980s sci-fi, the graphics themselves are sharp and gorgeous to behold. There is a level of detail which you certainly won’t find on older slots! In the background, there are some Tron (remember that film?)-style pulsing and illuminating streaks, lighting up parts of the circuit making up the backdrop. You should play this slot just to hear it and see it alone.
This is one deceptive slot – it looks like something from the 1980s, but the details place it squarely in the here and now. It also is very straightforward to play, yet can lead to some nice, big wins. All in all, when a slot looks and sounds this good, it usually is -although we would have liked to have seen some more exciting bonus features. Either way, this is one exciting slot.
